On Saturday the 13th we took the boys to their first Pumpkin Patch! We sure had a great time, it did get a little cold but not too bad. We picked out a few pumpkins that we will be carving sometime soon for Halloween. We can't wait to put the boys in their costumes!
Last week the boys also had their four month old shots... and, sadly their reaction to them was not good, they both ran very high fevers and had a couple of bad days, needles to say mom and dad did not get any sleep at all. The boys are definitely growing... Matthew is weighting 17.8 lbs and, he measures at 25-3/4"; Robert is weighting 17.1 lbs and measures 24-3/4". The doctor seemed very please with both of them and suggested we start them with solid food. I am going to wait until they turn 5 months old (which is just around the corner).
Tiempo de Otoño!
El sábado 13 llevamos a Matthew y Robert a su primera cosecha de calabazas! Fue un gran paseo familiar, hizo un poco de frío, pero nada extremo. Escogimos unas pocas calabazas que estaremos tallando uno de estos días para Halloween. ¡Nosotros estamos muy emocionados ya que muy pronto Matthew y Robert van a ser disfrazados!
La semana pasada los chicos tuvieron también sus vacunas de los cuatro meses... y tristemente la reacción de ellos no fue muy buena que digamos, los dos corrieron fiebre y tuvieron un par de días malos, asi que como se podran imaginar mamá y papá no pudieron dormir del todo. Los bebes estan creciendo rapidamente... Matthew pesa 17,8 lbs y, él mide 25-3/4", Robert pesa 17,1 lbs y mide 24-3/4". El médico estuvo muy contento de ver como estan creciendo y lo bien que estan. El medico nos dijo que ellos deben empezar ya con sus papillas pero yo he decidido esperar hasta que cumplan los 5 meses (que está a la vuelta de la esquina).
