A Few Busy Weeks!

The past few weeks have been very busy in our household. We had some friends over from Casper, also Abuelo y Abuela came to visit us for a couple weeks, and sadly they had to leave already and we miss them!!!
During the past few weeks the boys had a few firsts. On Oct. 21st they both rolled from their backs to their belly's on their own. The following weekend they had their first meal of solid foods. A lot of people have been recommending that we give them cereal in their bottles but we chose to wait a little. So for the first time on the 27th they had rice cereal. Matthew and Robert did really well with the food. It really is great to see how they are growing!!!
The boys had their first Halloween!! We are so proud of our little monkey and duck, we sure think they looked very cute! They seemed a little confused with all the movement, and so many people coming and going but overall they did really well.
Matthew and Robert also had their first shower, and they both loved it!!! We thought at first maybe they could get a little scared, but they enjoyed it and did not want to get out of the shower!
The most exciting thing that has happened is that Matthew said his first word last Saturday the 10th. Believe it or not he said Mama!!! I am so so excited!! After that, he only says it when he is mad. Otherwise when I tried to get them both to say it they smile, and think is just very funny!!
We are now getting ready to go on our first family trip! We are going to Oklahoma! We are very excited to see our family and our friends, and we can't wait for all of them to meet our two little angels.




Unas Semanas Ocupadas!

¡Las últimas semanas han estado muy ocupadas en nuestra casa, nosotros fuimos visitados por unos amigos de Casper, también Abuelo y Abuela vinieron a visitarnos por una semanas, tristemente ellos se han ido y los extrañamos mucho!!! Durante las últimas semanas que los chicos tuvieron unos pocos primeros; el 21 de octubre los dos se dieron la vuelta de sus espaldas al vientre completamente solos, el fin de semana siguiente ellos tuvieron su primera comida de alimentos sólidos, muchas personas han estado recomendando que nosotros les demos cereal en sus botellas pero preferimos esperar asi que por primera vez el 27 ellos tuvieron cereal de arroz. ¡Matthew y Robert comieron muy bien, es hermoso ver cómo ellos crecen!!!
¡Ellos tuvieron su primer Halloween!! estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros pequeños mono y pato, nosotros pensamos que ellos se veina hermosos! Ellos estuvieron un poco confundidos con todo el movimiento y tantas personas que iban y venian pero en general se comportaron bien.
¡Lo mas emocionante de todo fue que Matthew dijo su primera palabra el sábado 10 pasado; él dijo Mamá!!! ¡Yo estoy muy emocionada!! pero después de haberlo dicho él sólo lo dice cuando está enojado, de otro modo cuando trato de que digan mama Robert y Matthew piensan que es muy chistoso y rien!!
¡Nosotros ahora estamos preparandonos para ir a nuestro primer viaje de familia! vamos a Oklahoma! Estamos muy emocionados de ver a nuestra familia y a nuestros amigos, nosotros no podemos esperar a que todos ellos conozcan a nuestros dos pequeños.
